A frightening wooden scaffold in China has quite recently been supplanted by a glass one. This, the world’s longest glass-bottomed walkway, is situated in Shiniuzhai Geopark in Hunan, and traverses 300meters and is 180meters over the ground.
The floor is made of twofold layered glass that is 24mm and is apparently 25 times more grounded than general window glass. The extension had already been made of wood, connecting the two tops of Stone Buddha Mountain, yet 11 engineers working 12 hours a day changed over it to glass.
