IKEA raised money for charity by turning doodles to soft toys

With a view to help the needy children around the world, IKEA has undertaken a project of donating one dollar/euro to UNICEF and Save the Children Fund against sale of their toys. IKEA have chosen drawings of nine finalist kids from a worldwide children’s drawing competition.

They have arranged to turn these drawings into soft toys and sell those at their stores for philanthropic purpose. IKEA have been running The Soft Toys for Education program for the last twelve years. This will give the kids a chance to help their needy peers. via IKEA | via boredpanda
