Every artist uses for their work but this sculptor from Bosnia turns his tools into art. Born in Tulza, Jasenko Dordevic, usesX-acto knives with tiny chisels for carving pencil tip structures in details.
Inspired from Dalton Ghetti’s work he started carving pencils, the result of which resembles a thing made from stone and charred woods. Graphite being hard and fragile at the same time, it is Dordevic’s choice of material and an artist working with lead needs to be very careful as a slight mistake can lead to its crack.
