Children’s Innocent Spelling Mistakes

Beaming with energy, innocence and penchant for play, children are apt to commit mistakes, sometimes inappropriately, and ignorant of the implications. Apart from making misspellings, children may say, do, or write wrong things, sometimes provoking laughter, and sometimes making us embarrassed.

But we are inclined to ignore their follies and failures, taking care to teach them the correct ways, including writing without spelling mistakes. Children are children, and they deserve neither harsh words nor harsh treatments. Here are a few examples of the kids’ spelling mistakes which show writing whore (prostitute) instead of whole; best cock for best cook; Meth for Math; hore (dirt) for horse; and so on. via boredpanda
