With their sleek body and webbed feet the otters are very good swimmers since birth. Last year a wild sea otter gave birth to her baby in the ‘Great Tide Pool’ at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, California. She has chosen this place for her delivery to keep the newborn protected from other animals and stormy weather.
Photographer Connie Levenhagen has spotted the mother and her one day old baby with the baby sleeping on the belly of the floating mother. This page includes several photos and a video that you would love to watch. via Facebook | YouTube (h/t: laughingsquid) | via boredpanda
