Adult Bears Teaching Teddies Easy Adaptations

Inextricably attached to their teddies, mother bears enjoy the critical phase in the Spring, nurturing their young ones. While during hibernation which happens normally during Winter, the momma bears of varied species lose nearly half of their body weight, their baby bears grow spectacularly well sucking their milk.

In a bid to regain their lost nutrients, and to keep the area clean, the adult bears even consume their cubs’ waste. When the hibernation period closes, the time for the cubs to come out and learn by example comes. The mothers show them the techniques of survival, and in 2-3 years, they chase away their cubs to lead independent life. via boredpanda
